Ken Bressington

Principal Solicitor

Ken is our Principal Solicitor acting for families in the Sale and Purchasing of properties, Wills, Estates and Litigation areas. After moving with his family throughout North and Central Queensland, Ken has lived in the Rockhampton region for over 50 years, beginning his legal studies in 1973 and since his admission as a Solicitor in 1978, he has continued to work in the region.

With decades of legal experience to offer, Ken continues to act for families for whom he has acted since his first day in business, enjoying the opportunity to retain a long association with his clients. The firm has for over 35 years adopted and lived by the motto “The Difference is we Care.”

While actively participating in various community focused support groups and organisations over the years, Ken currently undertakes a number of advisory roles for community associations throughout the Rockhampton region, including the current honorary Solicitor for many local sporting organisations.

James Harney LLB

Solicitor

James is a Solicitor of the firm, working extensively in our Commercial, Business transactions, Wills, Estates, Debt recovery, Court appearances and Criminal Law areas. After graduating high-school in 2005 he commenced working for the firm in 2007, being admitted as a Solicitor in 2013.

James prides himself on providing effective and timely advices, with the ability to clearly communicate to clients and carefully document the legal process. Through taking the extra time to discuss every query that they may have, James is able to ensure a personalised service tailored to the individual needs of those who draw upon his expertise.

In having a local-focused mindset and participating actively in community-based events, James understands the encounters faced by those of the Rockhampton region, providing the same level of services that he himself would expect.
